Nagnoi, Inc.: Business Intelligence Partner of the Year

A unos días después del anuncio oficial por parte de Microsoft Corp. y con gran emoción, quiero compartir con ustedes que Nagnoi, la compañía donde laboro, fue premiada como Business Intelligence Partner of the Year 2011. Esta distinción es el más alto reconocimiento que otorga Microsoft dentro del mundo de Business Intelligence y cuya ceremonia de premiación será durante la Conferencia Anual de Socios de Negocio (Worldwide Partner Conference – WPC) 2011. Esta conferencia se llevará a cabo en la ciudad de Los Angeles, California, del 10 al 14 de Julio.

 

Para que conozcan un poco más de la envergadura de los premios Microsoft Partner of the Year, estos se otorgan entre los socios de negocio de Microsoft de todo el mundo en distintas categorias (una de las cuales es Business Intelligence). De acuerdo a la página oficial de Microsoft, este año se recibieron más de 3,200 postulaciones, donde en cada una el socio de negocio presenta y describe alguna de sus implementaciones, explicando la tecnología utilizada pero más aún, el impacto de negocios que tuvo para el cliente. Por tanto, no estamos hablando sólo de implementaciones tecnológicas, sino de soluciones que hagan sentido de negocios y que hagan que las empresas y/o organizaciones más competitivas. Pero por si fuera poco, Nagnoi también obtuvo otros dos premios importantes como el de Microsoft Business Intelligence Partner of the Year para Latinoamerica y el de Microsoft Country Partner of the Year. Este último nos reconoce por segundo año consecutivo como el socio de negocios a nivel Puerto Rico que tuvo el mayor impacto brindando soluciones a sus clientes .

Internamente en Nagnoi a esto le llamamos el “triple crown” (triple corona). Y más allá de ser tres premios, su importancia radica también en que estos debieron ser otorgados por tres equipos de jurado distintos y adivinen qué…los tres coincidieron!

Esta es una buena oportunidad de también decir, de que junto a un gran equipo de profesionales y de calidad humana, me siento muy orgulloso y parte clave de este logro para una empresa relativamente joven y relativamente pequeña, pero que en cada una de sus implementaciones da lo mejor de sí para el beneficio de sus clientes.

Nagnoi ha demostrado una vez más que está más que listo, y con clase mundial, para seguir aportando a hacer a sus clientes más competitivos.

A few days after the official announcement from Microsoft Corp, I want to share with great excitement that Nagnoi, the company I work for, was awarded 2011 Business Intelligence Partner of the Year. This distinction is the highest recognition that it is bestowed by Microsoft in the Business Intelligence arena worldwide. The awards ceremony will be held during the 2011 Worldwide Partner Conference in Los Angeles, California, from July 10th to 14th.

  

To tell you a little more about the importance of these Partner of the Year awards, these are given to the best Microsoft partners worldwide in different categories (Business Intelligence being one of them). According to the Microsoft official website, this year they received more than 3,200 submissions, where partners present and describe one of their implementations, explaining the technology employed, but more importantly, the business impact for the customer. So, we are not just talking about technological prowess, but about solutions that make business sense and make customers more competitive. For more details about this category click here.

Moreover, Nagnoi also obtained other two important awards: Microsoft Business Intelligence Partner of the Year for Latin America and Microsoft Country Partner of the Year for Puerto Rico. The latter one recognize us, for the second year in a row, as the partner that made the most impact delivering solutions to customers in Puerto Rico. Internally, we are calling these three awards together the “Triple Crown”.

Providing more details about the selection process, for each of these awards three different panels of judges are assigned and guess what…all three panels agreed!

This is a good opportunity to say that I feel very proud of being part of this excellent team of professionals, which is the key ingredient for these achievements in a relatively young and small company.

Nagnoi has demonstrated one more time that it is world class, and more than ready to conquer the globe, without losing its main focus: making customers more competitive in a globalized, constantly changing world.
